Playtime

Playtime is a play group for parents and carers to attend with their children (aged 0-3). It emphasises the importance of play in a child’s development and accustoms children to structured daily routines.

SESSIONS

Play leads to higher self-esteem, better inter-personal competence, higher aspirations, and a heightened motivation for learning and self-efficiency. Play is important to Steiner education, which allows children time to develop in a staged method, appropriate to the child; children are encouraged to take their time to learn and fully embrace new skills.

These structured play sessions are a great opportunity for parent and carers to be introduced to Steiner Education, and join a community of supportive parents and carers. You will have the support of a dedicated Steiner teacher, who will lead each session. Sessions are two hours long, and involve crafts, stories, songs, outside free play in our beautiful garden, games, and morning tea.

2025 session times:

  • Wednesday 9.30 – 11.30 am
  • Thursday 9.30 – 11.30 am

Price: $12/session + First session is free!
