Monday 3rd September 2018 at 7pm

Melanie Deefholts will be visiting our school to present an evening talk for parents, on Monday 3rd September. She will be speaking on adolescents development through puberty physical changes; emotional and feeling life changes; and overall health at this developmental time.

It will aim to help to bring an understanding of how to support children/adolescents going through this transition. It will also aim to address some of the questions and challenges that adults experience. This evening is relevant to those caring for and working with children of all ages and is a good opportunity to hear how the students will be supported in class as well as have some practical ways to have ongoing conversations with your children as they navigate puberty and adolescence.

Melanie Deefholts is an adult educator who has been working with TAWS for the past 3 years. As part of her work with our community Melanie will deliver the Student Health and Wellbeing program on behalf of Developing The Self, an organisation that works with Waldorf students and parents worldwide.
